KIWISDR
- Every KiwiSDR 2 has the proxy service enabled by default. So straight out of the box you can connect using the serial number, e.g. 2xxxx.proxy.kiwisdr.com On the admin page, connect tab, you may disable the proxy and use whatever connection method you like (e.g. by domain name, IP address, DUC domain etc). You can also change the proxy name from the serial number to a name you choose (assuming it's not already taken). In the browser you will access to the configuration using my.wikisdr.com or 2XXXX.proxy.kiwisdr.com
- The serial number and admin password is found on the printed sheet inside the shipping box. Serial numbers are of the form 2xxxx and the password four numbers and/or lowercase letters (example r2d2). This information is also written on a label on the bottom of the unit. The admin page (2xxxx.proxy.kiwisdr.com/admin) has a default password, change the the admin password on the admin page, security tab. Replace "2xxxx" with Kiwi serial number.
- On the network tab, You find the Ethernet MAC address. In your modem, Add the MAC address to the reserved DHCP list and open the port 8073 to connect to the KiwiSDR remotely.
- On the webpage tab, change the Top bar title, Owner info, Antenna info, Location (name) and Location (lat, lon). If you are not using a GPS antenna, write the coordinates in Format: (nn.nnnnnn, nn.nnnnnn).
- On the Public tab are the parameters for rx.kiwisdr.com registration. Fill-out your listing information (name, location, etc.) and set the register switch to Yes.
- On the console tab, connect to the Beagle Debian console, install ntp (apt-get install ntp), then edit the ntp.conf to listen the d-tacq's IP address and restart the ntp service.
- Reboot the beagle to save all changes.
